Service Description

This Shining a Light on Autism session is for you if you know or suspect that your child might be autistic. You will learn about the features that categorise autism and some supportive strategies to try to help you understand and connect with your child better. This training will cover: ✅ What is Autism? ✅ Myth busting ✅ Diagnosis and terminology including ‘the spectrum’ ✅ The triad of impairments and beyond ✅ Media portrayal ✅ Strategies and activities to support ✅ Masking You will get loads of practical information and advice so you come away feeling confident, understanding your child better and with things to try straight away. You can also ask questions throughout to get advice for your own child or if you are unsure about anything. Shining A Light sessions are held in a private Facebook group (details will be sent following purchase). The group remains open following the session so you can share how you're getting on and ask for more advice. After the live session you will still be able to purchase the training and access the group from the 'Our Products' page. Just £10 for the live session!
