Service Description

Every child, regardless of diagnosis, has their own unique profile of strengths and challenges. We support you and your child to work on their challenges, whether that's communication, behaviour , sensory needs or anything else, to find your way to a brighter future. Our assessment and report package is based on conversations with you, questionnaire forms completed by you and sometimes school/nursery and your child themselves and sometimes observation of your child. We write a comprehensive report identifying your child's specific challenges and making recommendations of ideas, resources and tools which will support you moving forward. Our report can be used as evidence towards an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) and to support a diagnosis. It is also useful to share with school or nursery, friends or family members to develop everyone's understanding of your child. The report is £140 which can be payed in one go or over a 3 month payment plan. Here are some comments from parents who have had an assessment and report from us: ‘I am really impressed with the depth and also the tools/suggestions within it.’ ‘During the week we had a brief meeting with a couple of the reception team to talk about (my child) and I gave them a copy of your report, thank you so much already this is helping massively.’ Our one to one taught sessions can follow on from a report or stand alone. We usually offer an hour, in the home, and this can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly or as and when you want them! We plan sessions for your child's specific needs and this can include developing a communication system, teaching emotional awareness, showing you sensory strategies and much more. Sessions are £65 an hour.
